Modification of script by NeoGAF user squidyj This shit is all so much easier on PS4/Xbox with a MixAmp. I'm not even sure that's really possible as I'm not sure that most games even use the 'communcations' audio for the VOIP part. I would love something to automate that step.Īnd something to balance communication volume with normal audio with hotkeys. Ideally I'd want a hotkey solution for switching between speakers, headset (with communications), and maybe another headset setting which would also do the surround stuff for gaming.Īlso whenever I plug my mic in I have to click the Realtek software and tell it that it's in fact a mic that I plugged into the front panel. My biggest problem right now is that I can't figure out a way to automatically change my 'default communications device' when I plug in my headphones and mic into my front audio panel and I always have to do it with the windows sound thing in addition to whatever else I'm trying to do with my audio. hasn't been fantastic for this but does work decently for balancing audio between applications quickly. I'm often trying to switch between my speakers, and my headphones with or without Razer surround processing. I find this sort of thing a nightmare as well.
